TECPL offers a wide range of engineering and project management consultancy services during the Pre-Investment Phase, Investment Phase and Operations & Maintenance Phase of the projects. The capabilities and experience range from concept to commissioning.

Project Planning and Development Phase: The services offered are preliminary and detailed feasibility studies, financial analysis, developing master plan, conceptual/basic engineering, due diligence, project cost estimates, project implementation plans, preparation of specifications etc.

Engineering & Specialized Studies: In the investment phase TECPL offers a comprehensive package of engineering and PMC services as well as specialized studies. This includes preparing basic concepts & design basis, preparation of basic & detailed drawings and specification related to whole range of civil/architectural, mechanical, pipelines & piping, electrical, and instrumentation functions. Besides this TECPL also provides assistance in special designs (structural dynamics, piping calculations), Risk analysis, HAZOP Study, Disaster Management Plans, and O&M Manuals.

Procurement Assistance: This includes preparation of tender documents, pre-qualification/short listing of vendors/contractors, inviting bids, assist in preparing requests for proposals & bid evaluation criteria, technical evaluation of bids, issue clarifications to bidders, reviewing/finalizing of contract documents, review of the orders placed by contractors on vendors, periodic follow up of procurement by contractors, review of vendor’s QAP, actual inspection and review of inspection certificates done by others, and review of vendor documents.

Project Management: Planning and management of all project activities including preparation of master schedule and detailed schedules, change order requests & progress reports submitted by contractors, quality assurance plans, inspection plans and HSE documents of vendors. Monitoring progress of engineering, procurement & construction activities, conducting project review meetings by coordinating with the client, vendors and contractors.

Construction Supervision: Providing technical supervision by deploying site supervision engineers across multiple disciplines, monitoring construction progress, preparing monthly progress reports and exception reports, reviewing contractors invoices, as-built documentation, health, safety & environment control plans and quality control.

Commissioning Assistance: Preparing pre-commissioning/commissioning plans, reviewing commissioning procedures prepared by contractor, preparing a punch list, providing assistance during provisional acceptance & acceptance tests, and supervising commissioning.

Operating Phase: TECPL provides operational solutions, which includes operation support, maintenance support, training and technical assistance, performance benchmarking, up-gradation and modernization studies, technical audits etc.

TECPL has expertise and skills in providing front-end engineering design and basic design packages and routinely performs HAZOP reviews during the course of design development. It also has the capability to undertake turnkey projects on EPCM basis, including detailed engineering design, procurement, construction supervision and project management. TECPL has a comprehensive suite of project management tools to ensure effective control over costs and schedules, right from initial design through to start-up. We regularly do this in conformity with the international standards.

The strength of TECPL resides in its taking up the challenge of constantly improving its performance through a vigilantly practiced QA programme incorporating project feedback so that each new project benefits from the experience of earlier ones. Apart from this we have also carried out specific assignment like cost evaluation and process optimization, geo-technical and seismic surveys, site selection and site surveys.
